IT Crowd Extras

Well, I know it’s a bit late and everything but here is a brief synopsis of what happened when me Kate and Carl joined various other nerds and geeks for two days filming in Ealing.

The annoying things:

1. Why is that when you get in a taxi in any London suburb, the driver expects you to know where you’re going…we don’t that’s why we’re taking a taxi, you have satnav and maps and stuff….look it up!

2. Also on the taxi theme; could you all at least pretend to have meters and an agreed price as to how much journeys cost. We paid anything from £6 to £12 for the same journey on four different occasions in four different cars.

3. Staying at a Travelodge, on the other side of the road from the tube station, normally not a problem, but, this road was the North Circular, A40. Bloody busy and the underpass was a bit of a walk away, and all the food places were on the other side….can you move it please.

4. Not meeting ‘Jen

Good Things:

1. Being in the IT Crowd, this is quite bloody obvious I know, but it was excellent.

2. Meeting Benny Wong…what a star and an absolute legend.

3. Meeting ‘Moss’ and ‘Roy‘

4. Meeting the Genius that is Graham Linehan

5. Making new friends.

6. Doing the filmingy bits and running around like excited children on the shoot.

7. The ever so slightly odd nightclub we were in on the second day made me laugh.

8. The fantastic tanktop I got to wear on set, wish I could have kept it.

9. Actually being in shot more than once during filming, meaning my chance of stardom slightly increases.

10. Having Benedict Wong stop to chat to me and Kate on Friday after meeting us on Thursday, such a nice guy!
