The above link is my local radio station’s playlist. One of their continual onair statements is that they play ‘more variety’. This is just total nonsense. It really does annoy me. They constantly advertise how varied their music is and yet today, at work, I was there for just 4 hours and heard three tracks by Lady Gaga, just because they were different songs does not make it...

Whatever the hell this is, it is not a Mini, and it certainly isn’t a Countryman.
So much is wrong with this I can’t even begin….if anyone buys this they’re a dick.
Even if you disregard it as a mini and just view it as another BMW it’s ugly, badly designed and just odd.

I want my MTV it was Dire Straits who gave us that high pitched squeal in June 1985. Now what the hell has happened to MTV? I’m pretty sure the ‘M’ used to stand for MUSIC, now it just stands for MEH!

If you have never used it, Picasa, from those lovely people at Google is quite a handy photo editing a sorting type software thing and I ran the new version last night, I now over 5,000 people’s faces to identify!
It’s funny though, how well it picks out faces, although sometimes it has picked out pieces of table cloth with vaguely face shaped patterns, still be good for...

New blog?
Trying out this Tumblr thing, there are many, many such sites available, and many many ways of doing this, I shall just have to see if I like it or not.
This is me and my daughter on New Year’s Day, by the beach, or, more precisely, by the estuary that goes to the beach.
It’s one of the best things about living here, rolling hills one way and long sandy beaches the other
Today was my first day back to work
I finished my last job in October 09 and started my new one today, bit of a break huh?
There are a few things I really don't like about unemployment and they are ( in no order of preference):
1, No Money (obvious really)
2, Nothing to do, day after day.
3, Application forms - why are they so bad?
4, Interviews - who comes up with the inane questions? Use 5 words to describe yourself, why do you want to work for us, name one thing you did at your last job that shows good...umm something or other...
5, Having to sign on, ever, at all - depressing.
6, Getting fat - drinking tea and eating biscuits constantly does this to you
There are probably more but they come immediately to mind
